1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used. Similar technologies (like local storage and tracking parameters) work in comparable ways and are covered by this notice.

2. The cookies we use

Essential cookies (always on). These are needed for the site to function, for example to keep you signed in. The service cannot work properly without them, so they do not require consent. Examples: sign-in/session cookies from our authentication provider (Clerk), and payment/session cookies from Stripe during checkout.

Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not store cookies on your device or track you across other websites.

Marketing and tracking. We do not currently use advertising cookies or run ad tracking pixels on our site. We use UTM tracking parameters (small labels on our links, for example from TikTok) to understand which channels bring visitors to Phlo. This information is recorded in our analytics and is not stored as a cookie on your device.

3. Your choices and how to manage cookies

When you first visit, you will be asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in our website footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting or blocking them, though some essential features may not work if you block all cookies.
